A BAKER'S DOZEN FUN FACTS ABOUT ANTHONY!
  • One of Anthony's grandfathers won an olympic medal in Gymnastics, for Poland

  • The legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald broke the news to Anthony that comic magician Tommy Cooper had just died

  • Legend of sport Denis Compton CBE (Arsenal FC and Marylebone Cricket Club) was one of Anthony's first bosses

  • Anthony appeared not once but twice on a CH5 programme called "The People vs Jerry Sadowisz"

  • Anthony was an extra in a Dubai pilot TV comedy show called "Dr. Max". Anthony was also an extra in a British TV commercial for John Smith's Bitter.

  • In 1997 Anthony was left in charge of the famous FA Cup for ten minutes while on a visit to Chelsea FC

  • Anthony, while working at ABC News, London Bureau, had to escort American President Joe Biden to the TV Studio. Anthony has also met the late Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev whilst visiting a well-known London department store

  • Whilst on a visit to Belgrade, Serbia, on one of Anthony's birthdays, a local singer that Anthony knew introduced him, at a gig, to the then President of Serbia

  • Anthony received a character reference from the late, great broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan for Anthony's efforts on the BBC Children In Need Appeal, along with another character reference from the late, great footballer and manager Terry Venables

  • After a recording of a BBC Radio 2 show that Anthony was in the audience of, he and a few others got invited by the Producer (Richard Wilcox) to go to the Captain's Cabin Pub round the corner from the studios and was regaled for over an hour about the art of comedy from the iconic Sir Ken Dodd

  • Although Anthony is a true Brit,  one of his uncles was from Australia and was a director of the Australian Rules Football League Team Carlton  (A.F.L.).

  • In 1995, when TalkRADIO UK (Now TalkSPORT) first launched, Anthony worked at the station during its early days and for the first six weeks was an on-air contributor to its breakfast show for six weeks

  • When first starting out in the biz, Anthony came across a young talent at a National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO) gig and gave encouragement to the young singer who later went on to win multiple BRIT and GRAMMY awards ~ she turned out to be the icon that is Amy Winehouse.

Anthony has a full clean UK driving licence and would often be the mode of transfer for his artists to and from gigs.
